Voicemail backlogs are coming to an end.

Jul 28, 2021

Three words: READ YOUR VOICEMAILS.

This was my answer to Suzanne’s problems.

The Problem

With their old phone system, Suzanne and her staff spend a huge chunk of time going through voicemails. They even have to play a message a couple of times to get the necessary details.

Not to mention the hassle of jotting down notes on a piece of paper, only to forget where they were placed.

Suzanne and her staff frequently have so many pending voicemails they end up working overtime to go through all of them.

Suzanne always does her best to accommodate as many patient calls as she can, but she can only do so much in a day. So when calls go straight to voicemail, she wants to pick the most important ones.

The Solution

Suzanne and her staff won’t always have the time to listen and re-listen to every voicemail they receive. So I told her about another amazing feature that our phone system can do: convert voicemails to text automatically.

That saves them a lot of time and energy! No need to listen to voicemails on repeat, no need to jot down notes.

By reading voicemails, they can get to the essential details more quickly and prioritize the ones that need immediate attention.

Suzanne’s eyes lit up, but she was a bit skeptical. “
But where do these transcriptions go? Do I still have to open my email and download attachments to read them?”

I told her not to worry. These transcriptions go straight to IMS in no time. No need to access another account from another app. She can even organize and assign them as tasks to her members―all in IMS!

What’s more, a traditional phone system’s storage is very limited. With our new phone system, voicemail history can be tracked further back than Suzanne would ever need.

Suzanne’s voicemail problems? Gone!

This single feature alone saved their practice MORE time and allowed them to serve their patients better.
