Our History

1998

In 1998, we started as an IT department of a medical software company.

The great thing about small beginnings is that there’s so much room for growth, and there’s nowhere to go but up.

As the medical software company grew, so did our team.

2009

By 2009, we had evolved from a two-person group to an international IT department operating in the US, India, and the Philippines.

With our HIPAA-compliant solutions and HIPAA-certified staff, we catered to the IT needs of healthcare software companies, pharmacies, medical clinics, and IPAs.

As we built our expertise in healthcare IT over the years, we experienced the practicality and convenience of having 24/7 IT support.

We realized that we didn’t just want this for our company. We wanted this for other businesses, too!

2019

Every business deserves a full-service IT partner.

So in 2019, we grew from an IT department that handled internal concerns to ER Tech Pros: a managed IT service provider (MSP) specializing in meeting healthcare practices' IT needs.

2021

After providing managed IT services to even more medical organizations despite the COVID-19 pandemic, we experienced another growth spurt.

We evolved into something bigger and better by merging with MG Hosting, our partner company specializing in cloud hosting services.

Instead of working as separate companies with complementary services, we decided to grow and serve as one unified brand.

This decision aligned with our ongoing effort to make professional, HIPAA-compliant IT solutions available, accessible, and affordable to U.S. healthcare practices.

2023

In 2023, ER Tech Pros acquired Madera-based IT services provider Compnology to expand its service network and client base further.

Having served the Greater Fresno area for over 20 years, Compnology specialized in catering to large businesses in the agriculture, manufacturing, food processing automation, commercial security, insurance, and nonprofit sectors.

With ER Tech’s experience servicing healthcare facilities with stringent cybersecurity and compliance standards, the newly formed IT management team was ready to deliver top-tier IT services to more organizations in more industries.
